    Abstract
PCOS is a complicated and underdiagnosed endocrine condition that affects women. Understanding the prevalence of PCOS and the sources of information will enable the development of resources for people with PCOS and their loved ones, to better understand and control it. This study aimed to use an online survey to determine PCOS prevalence and knowledge among adult female students in Bangladesh. The questionnaire was completed by 364 women. Around 77.7% of female respondents said they had been diagnosed with PCOS. The bulk of the participants knew somewhat about PCOS. Although the women in this study had a much higher PCOS prevalence than the global and national prevalence, these results may have been biased due to the higher likelihood of women with PCOS responding to the questionnaire.
