dc.description.abstractEcological fragmentation is an important issue in the ever-changing environment of our world. Fragmentation in the seasonal wetlands can happen due to several factors- including natural and anthropogenic. This wetlands ecosystem fragmentation may have a significant impact on the biodiversity, ecosystem services and the local human health. This study assesses the impacts of ecological fragmentation in the seasonal wetlands on ecosystem and human health dynamics in Chitalmari, Bagerhat. These wetlands are vital ecosystems that support diverse flora and fauna and provide cultural and regulatory ecosystem services. This study focuses on understanding the correlation between wetland fragmentation, biodiversity loss, and the rise in insect populations, particularly mosquitoes, which pose public health risks. By collecting data through field surveys and interviews the research projects find some insights of how the population of the study have been affected by such changes in the ecosystem and what mitigation strategies they can adopt to build resilience and preserve the seasonal wetlands in Chitalmari, Bagerhat.en_US
